Wonder Wander

This fall, I took a graduate design class in which we worked as a group to create an exhibition inspired by The Book of Joy by The Dali Lama, Desmond Tutu, and Douglas Abrams. We dealt with many obstacles, including school closure due to smoke and a power outage during the opening reception.

Here are photos of the various projects that my class created. For my contribution, I made pieces that could be assembled into cubical lanterns. I laser cut paper and glued colorful film inside so that people could build lanterns. The pieces have tabs that interlock so that they can be assembled and hung from lights without the use of adhesives.
