Here is a collection of hand-dyed swimming-inspired textiles. The motifs are based on pools tiles, symbols, and water. I dyed these textile with fiber-reactive dyes that I mixed to create specific colors. I used tape and potato dextrin as resists to create designs. I also made stamps for some of the motifs, and created others through patchwork, embroidery, and beading.
