Pattern: Simplicity 1195 (base pattern, but all pieces were changed)
I wanted to have a sweetheart neckline, low back, thin strap wedding dress with a medium-length trains, so I started with Simplicity 1195 as a base pattern. I used the thin straps and floor-length skirt variations of the pattern, then changed the straps to a corset-style tie-back design, dropped and reshaped the front neckline and back, added fabric to the back skirt to make a train, and box-pleated the beaded + sequined overlay.
